Having to fly out the morning after arriving in Cuzco I didn't have any time to investigate the Inca ruins so made the most of it by catching the Inca Express from Puno, the comfortable tourist bus takes an extra few hours to make the journey but stops off at some Inca sites on route. We saw a spectacular Inca temple with its 30m walls still standing and surrounding village. It is fascinating to hear how the Inca's used no morter or anything to hold bricks together but just the concave and convex carving of the stone - which in an earthquake means the bricks do not slip apart.
Upon arriving in Cuzco I had a lovely last meal with Lisa and Tom before heading to the airport to fly back to Foz where should have been all along - certainly saw alot of cool stuff instead!! Thanks for letting me come with you guys!!! xxxx
