Hi, in LA now, have been in America for just over a week and it's?good to be back.

Just to add to? the last entry from Tahiti, we did get to go to the surf competition which was very cool.

LA is supposed to be full of stars but its full of psychos and freaks. The first bus ride we had a lady swearing at the floor and since then have seen hundreds of people just wondering about talking to strangers, themselves or lamp posts. We stayed in LA just long enough to spend a fortune in the shops on much needed clothing before hiring a car and heading to eastern Cal. We did attempt a night out before leaving with some friends we met in Fiji called Matt and Amy. It was a nightmare as we decided to take the bus to Sunset Boulevard but ended up missing our stop and had to get off in deserted downtown at midnight to catch the bus back to where we started. It ended up being a 2 hour ride to where we started.
