Hi, back in LA for the last time before we fly to Peru on Wednesday. Had an excellent time in Vegas, so much so that we extended our stay there to 6 nights. We had company for the last 3 nights as we met Amy and Matt there, the couple we had met previously in Fiji and then LA. So went out with them, drinking, eating, playing some slots (me and Amy) and losing money on a 2am poker tournament (Michael and Matt)!!

Before getting to Vegas we visited another load of National Parks finishing off with the Grand Canyon for our second visit, went to the North Rim this time so different views but equally as spectacular.

Had a couple of easy days in Hollywood and hopinng to see Brad Pitt, George Clooney and pals at the premiere of Oceans 13 which is being held right opposite our hostel tomorrow. I'm planning on setting the alarm very early to keep looking out the window every hour in an attempt to beat the crowds - good luck with that!

Inca Trail in 7 days time - scarey!
