Hey all again.

If any of you have read the other blog (so prob our mums and lyny) then we couldn't unfortunately upload the pics from this computer but we will try again on another asap!

Well we've been in LA for a couple of days now and the sun shining is fantastic.. Jay can't keep the smile off his face! It's only 18degrees :) but with lue skies and the sun shining it feels like summer! We've checked out the weather forecast ofr London... haha!! We won't be seeing anything like that from now on hopefully!!

Well after a little bit of a dodgy start with the mini bus driver we arrived at our hostel safely and was greeted by a v.friendly man. Our room/shared bathroom are v.clean and we even have a kitchen and a tv room (which we havn't actually used!!)

First morning was awake by 7 as the curtains are more like bed sheets! Walked to the end of our road and realised that we were smack bang in the middle of Hollywood Boulevard (Kodak theatre, Walk of Fame etc) jay's had a photo with Halle Berry!! We went to Rodeo Drive, walked in Beverly Hills and Bel Air (admiring all of the houses that we will never ever be able to afford) went down to Santa Monica and 3rd St Promenade.. then we actually had to head back as we were frozen once the sun went down (we did only have t-shirts on though!). Oh I nearly forgot to mention we made a friend on our day out.. Rachel from Brisbane! I wasn't too sure to begin with and having to take and re-take her pics about 5 times wasn't the best but she was nice girl who had been to LA a few times before so knew where to go!

Yesterday went to Universal Studios which was amazing!! Dev, Usha etc I don't think you would have been able to handle my itineray!! Firstly we were there before the park opened and I don't think we saw any other losers running to rides or crossing off rides once done but it was well worth it as we got to see it all and even went on the Simpsons ride twice... which is the best ride by far!

Todat we are going to head down to Santa Monica again and then over to Venice beach as the sun is beaming down! Later on we may head over to Paramount and WB studios.

Well I think we've probably bored you enough..please keep the messages and e-mails coming as we love to hear what you guys are getting up to..!!

UPDATED......

Well we did head down to Venice beach and it was really cool. Loads of street vendors selling all sorts of strange hand-made things. We didn't really spend much time sat on the beach cause it was pretty cold even though the sun was shining! What was cool was the big gym on the beach with people swinging from bars and rings....nicky had a go a as expected fell straight on her arse! So after that embarrasment we swiftly walked along the seafront and headed over to Santa Monica beach.

We blew our daily budget by eating at Bubba Gump restaurant but it had to be done! It was worth it though cause the food was great!

So that ends our time in LA....Auckland next...so watch this space....
