Matthew and I have just had a Kangaroo drawing competition - all I can say is it's a good job we're not coming to Australia as we would be asked to leave the country! My kangaroo was really fat and Matthew's was really skinny with a club foot - have you seen any like that??
Joke:
Baby Snake: "Mom, are we poisonous?"
Mom: "Yes, we most certainly are, why?"
Baby Snake: "I just bit my tongue"!!!!!

Hi Nick,
It was great to hear from you yesterday, and I hope you enjoyed the snorkelling. We have received a form from the Student Loans Company, which needs to be completed and sent back within 28 days. I will e-mail it to you on Monday. Can you print it, fill it in, and post it back to me as soon as possible, as you get a financial penalty if it is not returned within 28 days. There are two pages to the form so make sure you fill in both pages. Have a good flight to Brisbane & give our love to Beryl & family. YLM xxxxxx

Nice to see Mum's correctly answered another maths question to leave you a message! I'm with Ceri... Your blog makes me VERY jealous! I'd love to do what you're doing, but I don't have the guts to do it for as long! Perhaps a longer holiday in the school summer hols one year... Been out to cricket this eve - didn't play - it was our teams turn to do the score boards and collect the team sheets (I got to press buttons - yay!). School trip this week! Year group being split, so I've got 45 children (tho it feels like more with one of my little darlings in the room!) in my room on Tuesday - all day! I'm hoping the weather is good so we can go outside! The trip is to a military museum so the kids can find out what life was like during WWII about Christmas time! We spent all Friday afternoon making WWII Christmas decorations - my room now has paper chains everywhere waiting to be put up! I've got I'm a Celebrity on at the mo... Jordan's had to do every trial so far - hilarious!!! Plus, you'll be glad to hear Jedward are out of the Xfactor - Ollie was in the sing off with them, but the judges seem to have come to their senses! Lloyd was shocked he wasn't in the sing off - bless him! Cricket trials next Sunday - I only hope I can remember how to bowl because although I've played indoors twice, my run up has to change compared to outdoors. It will be interesting to say the least! Burried Flossy today - in the rain! Was the first chance we've had since Weds as I leave for work in the dark and return home in the dark... Depressing eh?! Parents came to visit the house today with Nan and Grandpa - they all approve of our new pad - can't wait for you to see it! Any sign of a 'down under' map yet? If not, keep looking! I'm loving your photos - nice to see you've made friends. Doesn't matter that people are asking if you're Irish... I'm sure the joke has an Irishman in there somewhere... Keep on loving life - glad you survived all the stingrays / jellies / crocs! If you could bring me back a joey, that'd be cool! Big love and hugs xxxxxxxxxxxx

Wokingham is going to seem very tame after all your adventures! Perhaps we should install a few crocs and stingrays in the lake at Dinton Pastures to make you feel at home, and I'm sure we could find a snorkel somewhere.
Hope the febreeze is still working, and how is the foot? YLM xxxx
Ceri

Wow, sailing, biking, 30oc heat...not jealous at all! Down south (Wokingham) has had a real storm. Leaves were rustled apparently. See what you're missing?! John

Glad to hear you're having an amazing time! I'm jealous of your sailing trip. It's grey and miserable here at the moment - not any good for sailing! I'm glad you've had the opportunity to meet the Australian side of the family - I hope you've taken photos for us all to see! FYI - Mum's cousin's children would be our third cousins (I think). Gethin and I get the internet tomorrow (I'm very excited!). We've still got lots of unpacking to do, but the main things are all sorted. It's just a case of finding homes for all the books and DVDs we have! Keep us posted of your next part of your journey! Big hugs xxxxxxxxxxx

Got your text about the sailing trip - great!! I think the last time you went on a boat trip was probably mackerel fishing, years ago, apart from the ferry to France! Matthew and I have been busy having an art attack - we collected lots of autumn leaves and twigs and made a big picture of an owl and a nest. ~The autumn colours have been amazing this year. Matthew took lots of photos so hopefully you will get to see our art attack owl. It's lovely that you've met up with Beryl & family, and hope she is feeling better. Lots of love, YLM xx Oh no, I've got another sum to do now so that I can save this message!
