Today we crossed the boarder, much quicker now we have a green card, into the states to go to the Washington North East County Fair at Lynden. On crossing the border you could see how mild the spring had been by the amount of snow on top of Mount Baker. We parked away for the grounds as they had a free shuttle bus to the gates. We had an easy start to today, first talking to mum and dad on skype and then Lisa and the children. Our destination today was about 10 minutes away at Maan's farm. Here we picked our own blueberries, something we had wanted to do. We took our own little buckets and walked along the wide rows. They were easy to pick with no thorns like blackberries or being near the ground like strawberries. You could easily grab a handful off the bush without taking any stalks....
