After 48 hours of continuous travel, gosh is it nice to be home! Decided I should blog just one more time to wrap up this wonderful experience I have had. Words can' explain how grateful I am for this opportunity. I could go on and on but I still would never be able to explain what an impact this journey has had on me.
In no particular order here are some things I have been able to do since I have been away for the last 5 months.
Flew 25 hours across the world
Made a few life long friends
Learned to cook and shop for myself
Cuddled a Koala
Fed a few Kangaroos
Snorkeled in the Indian Ocean
Met people from 12 different countries
Rock repelled down the Kalbari Gorge
Swam with Manta Rays
Sat in Nature's Window
Held a Snake
Saw Ke$ha perform in concert
Danced at my first Night Club
Ordered my first Cider
Rode a Camel
Camped in the Outback
Went Crabbing
Slept through a Cyclone
Celebrated my 20th Aussie Style
Went on my first Pub Crawl and Party Bus
Visited my 6th continent: Thailand
Rode on Elephant
Visited James Bond Island
Canoed through caves
Jumped off a boat into the Indian Ocean
Experienced a Thai Culture show
Dressed in full Thai attired and had a photo shoot
Visited the Big Budda
Went for an Ox-ride
Saw an Elephant and Monkey Show
Went to the Dahlia Lama Convention
Saw penguins emerge from the ocean
Saw where the Pacific and Arctic Oceans meet
Snorkeled in the Great Barrier Reef
Drove through the Rainforest on a Army Duck
Saw the Great Baron Falls
Observed Aboriginal Dances
Threw a boomerang
Ate dessert for dinner
Climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge
And much much more.
After all as Oprah once said "You haven't lived until you have been in Australia"
For the longest time I have had 4 goals in life.
1. Study Abroad
2. Visit all 7 continents
3. Have a successful career
4. Be happy
Now that I have certainly crossed off the first and gosh darn close to crossing off the second, I feel I can do just about anything. I am empowered and driven and I cannot wait to see what the future brings!
Thanks for reading & until next time!

GRAMDMA DEAR NICHOLE...READ YOUR PRECIOUS THANKFUL COMMENTS ABOUT YOUR VISIT TO AUSTRALIA. TRUST YOUR NEW LIFE AT HOME WILL GO WELL FOR YOU AND YOURS....PEACE AND LOVE..........
Katie The last entry sums up what an excellent and driven young adult you are Nichole. You have accomplished so much over the past five months; you've seen and done things people have never experienced in a life time, while still managing to stay focused on your goals. Be very proud of yourself, I know I sure am. Cannot wait for our next adventure. xo
Junior Hi CityDog! I had a lot of fun competing at the Cover Dog ctnoest today, but my favorite part was probably the ice cream my mom gave me to cool me off while we waited for the winner to be announced.Great job on all the money raised today. Next Saturday I will be participating in the worldwide Day of Blogs Blogathon to raise money for my charity of choice- Save Our Siberians. I only hope we can raise as much as was raised for Pasado today!Woo,Steve
