WEll i´m finally here, all that banging on about it and i´m actually here. Was there ridiculously early at the airport, so sat around for a while, listening to headphones, watching the ´morgue´ that seems to be airport departure lounges, seriously, i think i was making people nervous because i was smiling!!

Pretty sure i was only person on plane not speaking spanish, and managed to get away with spanish until near the end when this crazy lady next to me wanted to know the time difference. Seriously, she provided at least an hour (over the 11 hour flight from madrid), of entartainment, firstly watching her attempt at putting the seatbelt on. She found one side of it, but couldn´t figure out where the other side was, i was trying not to be in stitches. I watched for 15 minutes then helped, exactly the same happened later with her headphones..seriously!! Was also annoyed that i only realised 6 hours in that drinks were free, so started on the beer, although didn´t have too much as i had to keep talking spanish until hostel.

Taxi to hostel was like a car chase scene from ´Ronin´, i did think at one point we were being chased or something!! Hostel is quiet, haven´t met anyone yet as group meeting is tonight at 18:30 tonight. So just been wandering around locality, and last night getting offered drugs, but had to explain ´no hablo expanyol, los syento´...otherwise definatly!!HA.

So far my experience of the people here, is all friendly, very understanding of my poor attempts of Spanish. So off to tour Lima now and then food and drinks (going to try and not get pissed....yea right!) with groups. Next Update as and when!!
