Have amended as realised there was alot of swearing in first version.............Not my photo of course..rubbish computers so no phots until a bit....anyway,,hungover blogging here we go...

14th Jan - Manly Beach....Boom.... So got up hung over eventually after waiting for my roomy to move faster than a bloody small turtle covered in honey. Got a ferry to Manly beach, passed the opera house ( I actually got better photos than the one attached to this), and harbour bridge (same). Got to beach/manly, cool town, lots of cool shops and all that small surf town sort of thing, reminded me of a place i've been too in France called Lacanau, with a very pretty coast line, that wasn't that big but pretty quiet. Couldn't swim in the beach, only surfers (yea thats me boooooy!!). So ripped it up on the surf (literrally, if it was paper i would've wrecked the whole book the amount of times i fell!!). It wasn't crowded or anything was just a very stunning beach/town. On way back cracked into a german beer bar...aaahhhh, thats better, proper beer (as i think i've mentioned, aussies can't drink (small beers, low percentage)), so after several of that got the ferry back again, watched alot of tourists take a shed load of photos (me included) funny thing is stereotypes are there for a reason....there were tourists taking about 500 photos to my 1. Got home and watched some more rubbish aussie telly.....Yea i know!! I was suprised too.... I didn't go out!!

15th - So had to move out of my mates today into a hostel. Rocked up to my hostel, 10 share, covered in a minefield of jewellary....yep few girls in there, happy days! Spent the day watching sydney go by at its usual slower london pace. It really bugged me how it could've been just anywhere in the world!! That night went out for a friends birthday to a Becks Festival(most recent treat),but was wicked saw some good DJ's including DJ Harvey(early 90's style house), danced like an ass, watched a mate get molested by a very pretty drunk aussie, then turn her away as she was trying to rip his shirt of in the beer garden, so had to do some breif counselling with him after, eventually going back to the bar called Cheers, getting home about 6:30am after watching 1st half of the scarlets!! Can't wait to see ospreys when i get back!!!

16th - Got up planning to go to bondi beach today. none of my friends were sober enough to do it, but crowd from my room were going so went with them, good crack, except for 2 (sorry sussex or surry (whatevers closer to london)people) d*** from sussex or surrey, ignorant travellers, shirts off every frigging second, they might as well have gone to bloody Costa Del Sol...which is funny as thats what Bondi reminded me of!! Big waves etc, stunning place but way too busy....honestly...you ever go to Sydney,,,,,don't bother with Bondi, theres much better beaches knocking around, and there's way more better beaches knocking about!! Found another german beer bar though and had a laugh with that. Went home said goodbye to my mate as was leaving Sydney next day (finally). Syndey is somewhere you only have to go for like 3 days, see the tourist crap and go to a beach and leave if i was you! Not impressed but had fun obviously....Its the people your with!
