Another beautiful day in Queenstown. Much colder today. The locals aren't happy as there is no snow and therefore a lot less tourists. The guy who drove us to the airport for our Milford flight yesterday said it snowed in town on 7 June last year, whereas it's the same time of year now and no snow on the ski fields. What a great morning though for paragliding from the top of the gondola. Which is what Laurie, Deb and I did this morning while Bob, Col and Beth went on the shot over jet. What an amazing experience the paragliding was and not at all frightening. It was over too quickly though and I could of done it again. The morning was clear and we had great views floating over Queenstown. After meeting back up with the others we had lunch in town and then caught the gondola back up so the others could have a look around. Laurie contemplated the bungy at the top but decided against it. It was colder up there this afternoon and still frost and ice on the ground even at 3pm in the afternoon. Nice to be back to the warmth of our hotel room. Better layer up to go out for dinner tonight.
