Hey Guys!!

How are you all doing? This is the first time i've used this site so not entirely sure how it will work out! Basically I want to post all my photos to it for you all to look at, there will be a few diary entries but i'll probably just email everyone with my news - much easier!! Also, you should get an email everytime this site is updated, savvy? Oh and the computer im using at the moment is pretty old so no photos going up for a while!

Anyway! So how are you all doing? I'm having a fantastic time here in Jo'burg! Staying with Rob's cousins Denise, Mike and their daughter Amie, Stuart is also here for the first 3 weeks. Our hosts have been sooo good to us, it has been non-stop since we arrived! I'm already pretty burnt but can see a nice golden tan making it way through! Hating the mosquitoes tho - can't stop itching, it's driving me MENTAL! Also haven't been sober since arriving! The weather is so good here that almost every night is Braai night (BBQ to you and I!) and we can sit out chatting till all the hours in their huge garden by the pool and bar!

Amie and her boyf Anthong have also been showing us around a bit, they are ages with me and great fun to be with. Today they took us to a Lion and Rhino park, it's like a self drive safari which can be pretty scary at times especially when you can't figure out where the hell you are and there are a few angry looking Rhinos making their way towards you! I did get to play with these 2 tiny lion cubs in their pen! - they were so CUTE!! One was pretty boisterous - starting jumpin on me and got a hold of my top around the chest area!! Could have been a very embarrassing situation! Alas, this was not the case! I've also been shopping a bit, went for a day to Sun City which is so ace that i'm going back next week for a few days. Nickleback were supposed to be playing but they've cancelled - boo! Was dragged along on a 30K bike ride as Mike's bro is a member of this cycling club and they insisted we came along! Clearly they were far fitter than me but i did beat Rob and Stu so i'm happy with that!

Jo'burg is not as scary as i thought is was going to be infact, Denise has given us her car so we have been driving about places. You do have to be aware of what's going around you though, it's so weird to see all the houses and complexes surrounded with huge walls topped with electric fences. You can do all your shopping at the side of the road too - no matter where you stop at a junction someone will approach your car trying to sell random stuff!

Oh and not forgetting the nightlife! There is this amazing casino that i've visitied several times already, you walk inside and your suddenly in a Tuscan village where the roof has been painted to look like the Sky. It is just huge! Im awful at gambling so jjust go along for the food, bars and shops. Did i mention how cheap everything here is?! Drinks cost less than a pound, went to an amazing cocktail bar where no cocktail is over 2quid. We eat out so often because prices in even the posh places are insane!

Anyway, I really think i've written enough! I'll be in touch with each of you soon, promise! You can of course get in email me as often as you like - you know i'd hate to be missing out on any gossip! Will also try to get some pics on asap! I hope all is well with each of you and that everyone is behaving!
