Jordanian border, when I walked across from Eilat it was scorching hot and totally deserted, so I sat in the sun on the pavement until some guy wandered over and asked if I needed a cab. It's kind of hard to negotiate a decent price when you are standing in the heat in the desert with no idea how far it is to walk to the town... for my own future reference...
