Well a very long day of driving yesterday. Left Garmisch at 10:15 and got to Calais at 12:30 am through several traffic jams, one scenic route that was a little dodgy with the hight restrictions and rain on and off the entire day theought all 4 countries, so a well deserved nap in a random carpark till our train. But it's a beautiful day to day so fingers crossed the traffic won't be so bad in England.

Well the intrepid explorers returned Unfortunately due to weather and maybe a lack if experience the route was not finished. They turned round after only making progress of 500m per hour. A lot harder than expected with not much actual klettersteig. Andy struggled with the altitude and exposure and Stu had to bravely make the decision to return. Party in the park was NOT quite what I expected. Well whilst the boys are away the girls will play or maybe not. Stinking dancing toon with a lot of old people in like the local legion club is not what we expected. So we made a quick escape

Well the morning of the great intrepidation of the jubiliumsgrade and as ever I'm the first one up sorting dogs out and getting things ready at 6:15am and I'm not even doing it. The rain has finally stopped and it's a beautiful morning so I think they will have the weather gods on there side today so that's good. Stu and Andy getting ready for the ridge walk tomorrow from the top of the Zugspitz to the Alpspitz. I am very jealous I seem to miss all the fun although there pre plan preparation seems a bit to organised for me. Anyway so another day off today and then the next 2 days of pottering waiting for the boys to get back. including getting the dogs done to go home and a music festival in the kurpark in the evening.
