We had a great lazy day today...had dinner next to the lagoon in Huacachina in the baking sun with a massive sand dune for a view, then lay around reading til about 4pm, when we summoned our energy to go sandboarding...soooo much fun!! Our driver was a crazy driver, and the drive around the dunes was better than a ride at Alton Towers! We then had numerous goes sliding down the dunes on sandboards...Nat opted for sliding down on her front (can't fall over if I'm already flat on my face) while Sarah and Becky tried to do it the proper way before reverting back to Nat's tactics! We have videos of our efforts, but can't put them up here, so will save them for your viewing pleasure when we get home! We signed up for the nightly bbq at our hostel, but the whole thing was a farce, paid 20 soles for a salad bar and a tiny bit of chicken. Have to say the Peruvian cuisine is sadly lacking. So tomorrow is food day, when we are going to gorge ourselves on all nice things that we can find (cos we deserve it!) Love Nat and Becks (and Sarah!) xxxxx
