We arrived in Fiji today and were welcomed in the airport by the local answer to the greeter in Asda, only these lot sing in Hawaiian shirts. Transferred to our hostel, got talked at for an hour by our very exuberent roomie James and then escaped and went out for a curry and to sample the local beer Fiji Gold. We're getting picked up by our tour bus tomorrow at 8am, and we're going off to the islands for the next 8 days - will hopefully return with a tan!
