19th Arrived in airlie beach and headed to Magnums where we had a 10 bed dorm full of lads and 1 girl! They woke up and got talking, seemed like a nice hungoveer bunch!! 17th - Got the plane to Cairns and saw such a variety of landscapes on the way! Got to Cairns and it rained! typical! We went and checked in and couldnt believe it...we saw Tessa perkins and her friend who I've known since i was young and played hockey with back home, and vic went to uni with her. didnt know she was in Oz ..so went for some drinks and food with them which was kwl! I went home early and the two chinese girls we shared with were so rude and grumpy...

Alice Springs and Uluru Rock Tour 13th - we got up and chilled before catching the plane to Alice Springs. Views from the plane were spectacular, the desert looked like a tiger - red with green bushes as the stripes. Nice and hot! Stayed at Annies, really friendly.
