Got up bright and early and did my usual coffee thing and sat on the deck letting the morning slowly start. Waited till 10 am and woke periwinkle and she surprisingly didn't say her patented "10 more minutes" line.
At 11, we were off to the harbour to grab a boat so we could get a better view of the 5 villages from out at sea. It costs 12 euros each for a one way pass. The boat arrived and on we went. It stops at each village , other than Corniglia and let's off passengers and takes some on. Some great photos.
We arrived at Monterosso which is the western most village and has the best beaches. We looked around and found a restaurant and grabbed a nice lunch which are running around 21 euros, which includes my tasty beer. Then off to the lounge chairs which we rented for 15 euros including an umbrella. It was nice.... we beached it all day including a swim, then took the train back and had supper in our villa. Very quiet night.
Tomorrow, up at 6:30 am to catch the 4 trains we need to make it to Zermatt, Switzerland. We are scheduled to arrive at 1 pm, then we will walk to our villa and see where the day takes us.
Take care
Harold
