G'day!

Cairns is a great city! It's small and doesn't have too much traffic, and the climate is pleasant even outside the malls

Shopping here is too good, I'm waaayyyy over my budget and unable to stop spending..

In between days of shopping I've done some awesome stuff, like jumped off a perfectly working aircraft at 14000ft (that's over 4km)! It was brilliant, although I doubt I'll do that again.EVER. I have a video of it but unfortunately it was impossible to post it on my blog so you'll all have to wait to see it.. Yesterday I went diving in the great barrier reef, it was great but not Sipadan.I didn't even see any sharks which was a bit of a bummer but it was great to be underwater again! The service at Tusa (the company I went with) was outstanding though, you didn't have to assemble or disassemble your gear and they even put your fins on for you!!!Not to mention the excellence of the food onboard..AAAahhhh..

Tomorrow I'm going to see big crocks at Hartley's creek, and then I plan to just relax by the pool for my remaining few days here in Cairns!

Next I'm travelling to Brisbane to visit Steve Irwin's zoo and to be a jillaroo for a week, but about that in a later blog entry!!
