We got a pretty rubbish flight from Fiji to La as we couldn’t choose what to watch on TV and rubbish food. But soon enough we were in LAX waiting for our super shuttle to take us to our hotel. Nat was joining us the following day so we were very excited. We got to our hotel after seven laps of the airport and the shuttle driver made me feel very guilty for not tipping him (I had no change). We ordered a spicy Hawaiian dominos pizza with extra hot sauce...lush!! We watched hangover 2 which we had bought in Fiji and waited for Nat to arrive....and we waited and we waited. We knew she had landed as we checked online and her plane was in. We got a text saying she was on her way, so we were stood by the window waiting, then we stood outside waiting and finally the big blue super shuttle came round the corner so I ran over for hugs with Nat!! It was 2 become 3 all of a sudden, and they didn’t have 2bed rooms so we all shared one bed for the next few nights.

That first night Nat was there we headed for some dinner and being as we were in China Town we decided on a Chinese. It was so cheap compared to home and they gave us soooo much we ended up taking it home. And then throwing it out the following day. We couldn’t find any wine so made do with the vodka we’d brought from fiji.

While we were in LA we walked around for ages trying to find things to see, we saw city hall and char was given a feather from this weird guy. When we finally got the metro to the right area we did a tour of Beverley Hills, Rodeo Drive, walk of fame, we saw celebrities like David Beckham, P Diddy, Jackie Chan and Michael Jackson houses and also the houses where they filmed Friday 13th and Halloween. We also saw the Hollywood sign and the d was really far away from the O so they obv change it in films cos in real life it doesn’t look like that. It was a great tour even though it got pretty cold on the open top van. We met a guy before we got on the tour who was talking to us and turns out he was famous but we just don’t know who he was; some sort of American sports player. He was wearing so much bling it was ridiculous. We walked along Hollywood boulevard that night and seen the people dressed up as spider man and iron man etc. Batman was hot so was Tom cruise from Top Gun. Hollywood was amazing,

The following day we went to Universal Studios! It was brilliant, we took loads of photos and went on rides like king kong, mummy and simpson’s ride. We had Lots of Koreans taking pictures of us in the queues it was actually very annoying! Don’t know who they thought we were. We also went on the universal tour which was awesome we got to see where they filmed fast and furious 5 and loads of other films we saw backgrounds etc and now whenever we are watching films we can tell its fake...ruined it for us, but was very interesting. We went to Wisteria Lane; where they filmed Desperate Housewives on the backstage tour, and the grinch set and the war of the worlds set; it was all really fun. On the way out we could see they were setting up for the movie awards so gutted we didn’t get to see any celebs but was so strange watching it on tele later that night knowing we were there a couple of hours before.

We went in the haunted house last, and I was forced to go first. Nat was in the middle and char at the back it reminded me of Florida when me and Chris were in the middle and Ben and Fred protecting us. Nat was peeing herself, her hands were so sweaty. It was pretty scary though real people jumping out at us. Although I did try and scare them more than they scared me. Nat was glad to get out of there and we got this tram thing back to our hotel. Universal was a great day so was all our time in LA. But it was time to move on to San Francisco.....
