Sarah has already found a use for herself on this trip - helping out businessmen who can't work their laptop on the ferry and being given a free wifi token as a thank you! Excellent.
As a result, this entry is coming directly from the dark waters of the north sea!
After a long days travel we clambered aboard to explore the boat before setting sail for Esbjerg 20 minutes early.
After our exploration was complete (it didn't take that long), we went in search of food. After flatly rejecting to pay £27 for a basic meal we eventually paid a princely sum of £5.50 for half a club sandwich. Welcome to Scamdinavia!!
The crossing itself has been very good. Calm seas and a very comfy cabin (we were upgraded after giving the ladies at the desk a smile and a wink) led to a surprisingly good nights sleep.
We should dock in Esbjerg in just under three hours to start the trip proper!
We cannot wait.
