After a few hours sleep the 1.30am wake up was rude. In the Kia hire car and on the f3 bound for Sydney international airport. Oops, Greg forgot iPad and i forgot the ereader. On the bright side, we had all the kids, luggage, passports and tickets.

At the checking in counter of emirates we discovered that the airline had decided to put the two children in aisle seats by themselves. Our seating configuration would of been harry, aisle seat next to 2 adults unknown, the 4 of us, then james on the aisle seat next to two unknown adults. Great PR stunt for emirates. After kicking up a stink(Greg left me at the counter) and requesting they speak to a supervisor we received 2 x 3 seats next to the right side of plane at the rear. Greg 's comments "crappy service".

So who gets baled up at the X-ray machine, mum, with a tube of Vegemite. Vegemite confiscated and I am right to go.

Wifi at maccas with pancakes. Boarding was rather quick and the flight attendants were lovely, even if we are jammed in like sardines.
