We visited The Buffalo Bill Cody museuam before leaving Cody. It had some very interesting information on the opening up of the West and on Native Indian culture. It also had William Cody's childhood home (in case anyone is wondering what the random house is in the photo album).
More glorious mountain scenery on the drive to Rapid City. We passed through a town called Greybull, which had a delightful bill board sign that made me homesick for my Annie so I took a picture (no insult intended Annie!)
Greybull also had a small airport, whicgh I could not drive passed because I could see a hoste of really old aircarft. It had a defunct aircraft museum so I could not go in but was tantilised by seeing the aircraft from behind the fence. You may know that I have been a real aircarft enthusiast since childhood and my career started at British Airways. You may not share that enthusiasm, so I have only included a few shots in my photo album but I got a real kick out of it.
Cheers for now
