Michael and I decided to spend some time on our own, so we rented some motor bikes and set off to explore for part of the day. Survivor is filming for their next season in Playa Hermosa which is a couple miles from where we are staying. We decided to go find them, I'm not a fan of the show but I think Jeff's a cool guy and wouldn't mind meeting him. When we arrived here our friend Jim had said to us that this place is like Alison Wonderland, you are never sure ...

We are now 10 days into this epic adventure. We've seen so many amazing sights, and done some many amazing adventures. But the best summation of the last 10 days is the fact that the Keenan clan is still smiling!

Documented proof that even I figured out how to do this paddleboarding thing!

One of the new activities we tried was paddleboarding. Patrick and I went first. It was actually much easier than I expected. Once you got your point of balance on the board, it was pretty simple. The only difficult part was paddling against the wind, which was pretty strong! After seeing Patrick and I paddleboard, Colin obviously wanted to try. He has great balance, so getting up was easy. Paddling and controlling directions was one of his challenges. ...

On the drive back from the beach, there was a small concrete hut - which turned out to be a small cafe/bar. They had some pretty nice seating arrangements for enjoying a post-swim beverage (Fresca for Patrick; something else for me!)
