Free pancakes for breaky at the Big4 started the day, with the girls quickly running off with their new friends to ride pedal carts around the park.
That provided time for the mums to head to the Todd Markets which were very cool with lots of alternative stalls, not your usual soaps and candles market this one.
Heading back to the park to pry the kids apart we decided to look around Alice. Lunch downtown and a quick stop at a bookshop to stock up before the drive home. We checked out the Anzac lookout which shared information about the various wars Australian soldiers had been involved in.
After this we headed to the School of the Air which was really interesting to see how they have adapted to new technology opening the remote classroom up via satellite and webcams. The vast distance covered by the school of the air with students sometimes traveling up to 2000km to attend the annual face to face classroom session.
We chilled out in the park in the afternoon and headed out to dinner at Monte's a unique Alice dining experience. We chose it because of the unicorn at the front and it was setup like a circus, had a DJ playing a Sunday Sesh, some unusual local characters and the food was great.
