It's another blue sky but with a hitch today - high winds which shook the roof for the best part of the night so my preparation for taking on the Italian roads is almost no sleep because of the wind (and an overindulgence of an aged hot salami), instant coffee and the worst excuse for toast since the cavemen browned small rocks over a campfire.
I have enjoyed the two weeks here but I am looking forward to the last 4 days and getting home as well as my routine and my creature comforts which we take for granted.
I heard Chelsea lost 2-1 (funnily enough from my United supporting brother in law) to United overnight Norm so congrats on the win gents (and mother in law) but whilst we are mathematically alive I won't be relinquishing the reigning champs tag just yet. I am still proud of the way the Blues have come back since falling to 6th and still a fleeting chance of silverware.
Best of all the new strips get released soon so the current one becomes as cheap as a Ukrainian hooker so time to add David Luiz to the "family".
Milan won their 18th Scudetto yesterday which stopped their co-tenant Internazionale's long run of titles. La Viola lost to Inter 3-1 yesterday so been a s***ty weekend for me so hoping Carlton get up today. I have given up hope of a Raiders resurgence which seems as likely as understanding the Italian electoral system.
Bella Firenze here we come
