Ho Chi Minh City: This is by far the busiest city I've seen up to now. It's very chaotic & loud since people honk their horns every 2 minutes around here. THere are 6 lanes of traffic & no crosswalks...or they're ignored. The first time jay-walking is quite scary & is usually done by having a local drag you across with them or by a traffic security officer that will eventually go out into the street to stop traffic to allow the dozens of tourists who have been waiting for 5 minutes for wait for traffic to slow down before crossing (but traffic never slows).
At night, Eric showed us me and Angela around as he new the city quite well from working there for the summer & we otherwise just wandered around & went to the Vietnam War museum.
Mekong Delta: Angela & I took a 1-day tour of the Mekong Delta which was quite nice but it would've been better if there wasn't 90 people with one tour guide. We went to a fish market, honey-bee farm & then to taste some coconut candy & watch ed them make some of the crafts out of coconut wood. We also went for a horse and buggy ride through the country & on a rowboat trip as well.
Chu Chi tunnels: We went on a tour of the tunnels that were used during the Vietnam war & crawled through them for 100m. It seemed like we had gone much further as they were very small, hot & humid, even though they were apparently expanded for tourists. We then went for a city tour as the second part of this organized tour.
