Chennai The Armenian Church
Constructed in 1712 and reconstructed in 1772, it is one of the oldest churches in India. It is famous for its belfry of 6 bells.The Armenians were a select group of merchants having walked from Armenia.When the British were trading cotton cloth, they were trading fine silk, expensive spices, and gems.
