Plaza Vieja
Laid out in 1559, this is the most architecturally eclectic square. It was initially used for military exercises and later as an open-air market. There are many bars, restaurants, cafes (including one for 24 hour coffee), and its own micro-brewery. Surrounding buildings include a Camara Oscura, a photography archive of old Havana, a museum of playing cards, and a planetarium.
