Hello! Just read your Luang Prabang entry and I can totally remember all that stuff! I l;oved Utopia bar and the waterfalls. And the massively long night market that sold all the same stuff and had a ridiculous amount of mothers with babies - did you notice? Enjoy VV xxx

For those who may think that a university education is wasted on Ali she was writing on behalf of her 7 year-old cousin in her last message.

Going on holiday sounds like a lot of hard work!
It's good to see that you write a proper report in sentences that can be understood by people who aren't there. We'll expect a postcard as well though.
We'll be off to Wales for a week in a caravan for our holidays this year, so probably won't see any elephants. You always loved elephants, didn't you?
Take care. Lots of love.

To Jo and Ryan
I hope you are having a wonderful time in all those different countries. I think that you are amazing for going along way and sitting in trains and planes.
Please bring home a present for your mum and dad and Ali. I hope you get back without any scraches otherwise you might have to go to the hospital.
Love Rowan and Ali

Hiya you two. Liz & I have just been out in Shrewsbury with Fiona & Jill for a mother of the bride night out for Jill in advance of Ruth's wedding next week. Liz & I are back home having a glass of wine to celebrate your birthday (in advance of September & November) since you have had your present by spending the day with the elephants. Money well spent I say but please don't go back for some time though if you do we want to come too. Take lots of care. No more dangerous mountain biking. If that was the easy option I'm glad you did not do the hard one, although I expect Ryan would have excelled in that category as well. Let me know if you want me to send anything with Jane as long as it is not money. Your dad has spent my exam marking money & I have not been paid yet!! Will tell you more later.
