Just a quick blog post to let you all know that we've arrived in Sucre and are very relieved to have left the dump that is La Paz! We didn't have any problems there, but one could see why it is considered such a dangerous city, as even the coffee shop we frequented had its own armed security guard!!! We think that, although Sucre is a UNESCO site, Luang Prabang, Laos's UNESCO site, beats it hands down for sheer beauty and atmosphere. We're relaxing now after spending another night on a bus, having just had the best chilli con carne in South America! Hope all's well at home.
