Just got back 20mins ago from my 2 day trek of tiger leaping gorge!

Was really good fun, the first day was pretty hard work with a lot of up hill/ mountian but after a few hours it evened out and the rest was flay or down. Still after 6 hours of walking non stop i was pretty tired by the time I got to the halfway Guesthouse. Luckily I had meet a really nice English couple Sam and Steve and another Irish guy Mark to walk with so I have no choice but to power though! They walked on as were going to Shangri-la but I stayed in the mountains and the views were amazing! Even the toilet had a view of the gorge.

I met some another group or travellers there and continued the walk and the ride back to Lijiang with them. Again the views were stunning but you have to see the pictures to understand. Saw no tigers leaping though...was very mislead lol.

Back in Lijiang now which is a really nice little city, a bit touristy as its a UNESCO world heritage city but I think its like an Asian Venice- so full of canals, shops and resturants. Think I may do shop shopping while here....window shopping of course ;)

Off to Dali in 2 days and then back to Kunming where I fly out to Bangkok. Cant wait for a specail meeting at the airport ;)
