We have had 2 busy days in Paris, seen and done so much. We hired bikes from these stations which are dotted all around Paris, had fun trying to suss out how to unlock them but got there in the end and set wobbling off aroung the crazy Paris roads which was so scary at first!

Cycled along River Seine and around Paris to the Eiffel tower, we got lifts up to the top floor and walked all way back down. Been to Notre Dame which was so impressive. We almost didnt go in as had seen it from outside when we were cycling but decided to go back the next day properly and so glad we did.

Went up to the highest point in Paris, the Basilique du Sacre Coeur where we got hassed by people trying to sell you cigarettes/bracelets/children etc so Ive gotten adept at the art of saying no or just pretending not to hear.

Then we did a lot of walking which was cool as just stumbled upon stuff we probably wouldnt otherwise have. Took a wander to the Moulin Rouge then on to Arc De Triomphe and back down Champs Elysees.

In evenings just been chilling out at hostel, meeting all other backpackers which has been fun. Paris on whole is so expensive but you can buy a decent bottle of wine for less than 2euro in the shops so we,ve taken full advantage of that naturally!

Hostel is pretty crap but everyone has said its the worst they,ve ever stayed in so I won't be put off by 1st experience!
