Well the last three days have been fairly lively and quite exhilerating with the adrenaline rush of our trip actually getting under way and jet lag meaning we have been keeping quite unusual hours. The flight was smooth enough with the novelty of it all keeping the children going. Meg was delighted to have her own set of switches to play with on her arm rest including the one which calls for the flight attendant and the one which puts on the over head light.......

Well it's 11 pm on Sunday 23rd and we have said our final goodbyes to family over the weekend and I'm looking at the pile of rucksacks that hold everything we think we will need for the next 15 weeks! It doesn't look much. Michele has packed light with the plan to "buy anything I don't have". I can see the budget dwindling already! Molly and Cuddles have been installed in my Mum's back garden and I'm sure will miss us enormously while we are gone! ...
