Bonzer weekend. Had derby tickets and LCD Soundsystem tickets. Win win situation.

LCD were once again amazing. Got hear No Love Lost and Someone Great this time, which were both missing from the set last time. They're on brilliant form and have added a bit of showmanship. Alex from Hot Chip has settled in well.

Hey Fran, it was actually the other way around! Yeah he has gogot a guitar with him but I keep cutting the wires so he cant play, cos he drives me nuts with it! We'll be cheering on the derby from Townsville tonight, wont be on until around 9pm, so we get to drink beer which is a top treat for us at the moment! Mum has the night off tonight so I doubt she will be home til at least 2mo afternoon. It's like I'm the parent and she is the tearaway teenager.

We're out all day 2moro watching the derby then the rugby. We're both going to have a heavy one. It's our last night, then it's back to the real world..........It depresses me.

Where are you two?!! I'm seriously starting to think "Wolf Creek" - must make sure I don't let your mother near that film!

Had a hectic week as usual, running round after all the kids and their various activities. Was me & Issy's last baby yoga session this week, she's a proper bendy baby now, wish the same could be said about me.

Our Lauren came round on Wednseday and ended up stayin for tea which Barry cooked for her - come to think of it, we haven't heard from her since - I hope she's still standing!

We're off to London in the morning for a long weekend staying with our Andy & Rachel (and new baby Caitlin!) Our Andy was in hysterics cos he received an e-mail from Jess stating which room they'd like to sleep in, what they liked for breakfast ( and what they didn't like), suitable activities for the weekend and a few other requests - she's such a little organiser! Can't complain though cos it works in my favour too - I never have to worry about her gettin ready fro school in the morning!The kids are all dead excited cos we've promised to take them to Hamley's Toy shop on Saturday. Can't wait to see the baby and see what Issy will be like with her. I'm hoping she'll go for the caring big cousin routine and not the liitle thug one - guess we'll have to wait & see!

I can speak after two glasses of goon aaron, its the third that gets me! Fran we're very proud of you! thats a record for you isnt it?! You need to let us in on whats happening at home, even Jenny has vanished off the face of the earth, I know we keep disapearing but we have things to look at like dead kangaroos! I havent seen a live one yet, just a dead on on the road and I eaten probably 2kangaroos in total! We're off to an island tomorrow, so we might not get on here for a few days just to let the kirby clan know, the site was down today so blame that for not getting the blog! Got loads of really really good pictures, (because we learnt how to use the camera properly!) but youwill have to wait!

Hey guys i knew you would all be worrying, we have spent about four days in the highlands surrounding Cairns and we are now making our way down the east coast in our van. Fran so impressed with you drinking a whole glass all by yourself, but i am gonna have to set a new challenge for you you have to finish a whole glass of "GOON" which is a totally different kettle of fish. Goon is the backpackers tipple of choice 13$ which is about 5 and a half quid for a 4 Litre box and it reduces you to a slurring wreck Jack has just had two glasses and she is talking crap already.

Well we are safe and the blogs are coming but internet is gonna be more sporadic as it is really expensive.

Hi Guys

Just letting you both know that we have arrived in Spain (Together!!) without Matt and gem though, boo hoo.

We are in Gaynors now having a few cheap Spanish beers after having a night in Biddy's (that Irish bar that we love Aaron!)

Its still quite sunny here so it should be a good week! Louis is great, started school and loves it! He is starting to speak slight Spanish too! fran has got the biggest glass of wine next to me but i know in the end i'll have to finish the three quarters of a glass that she will leave! plus my beers!

Just to let you know that we have a lodger in our house, Gemma is moving in on Saturday, we'll have a laugh! I (It's Fran now) really can't wait for her to move in, the company will be good for us both. The cat is great company but she is starting to have worse PMS than me, Imagine that!! I sound like a right saddo, I do go out you know!

Louis looks boss, long hair, gorgeous tan and the best accent. He's a stunner, just like his big sis!! (I've had a BIG wine) so I'm loving me. I've been quite good with the wine lately, I can finish a glass now!!

Me and Craig had a night in town last week, started in the Albert Dock, soooo shallow so we finished in the Tube (tack but funny!). Aaron, Craig missed break dancing with you, at one point he was about to get down and do it alone. I stopped him of course!

I will send you some pic's of our week when I have a little bit of a tan.
