We arrived in Kuala Lumpur Last night after a short flight 35mins and 1hr drive by cab from the airport. Total distance approx 200 miles. The flight was vitually empty, we assume because it was a positioning flight!

We explored KL from the monorail, getting to grips with where everything was. They certainly seem to do a lot of shopping in KL there are loads of shopping malls.

On Monday we took our laundry to the local laundrette and then headed off to the Petronas Towers unfortunately they are closed on Mondays!!

We grabbed a bite to eat and then headed off to their equivilant of the BT tower, which was open. We certainly had spectacular views of KL from here and got a good photo of the Petronas towers.

Included in our ticket was a visit to a small zoo, the winter gardens and a formula one simulator. Great I would have a go at that. The simulator had broken down and was substituted with a horse or pony ride, in that heat and with my track record it was no go, John wasn't too taken with the idea either.
