Top Tip Public Transport Get an all day ticket for €7:60 One single journey costs €2:20, so this all day 24 hour ticket is great value and well worth it.

Vienna's public transport is excellent. Everything is easy to read, you can find your way quite comfortably without too much trouble. Top tip if you are on the U6 line, my hotel is near Alser Strasse - when heading into town from Alser Strasse, you need to go NORTH one stop and then change trains as the platform is being re-built, looks like it could be a while

The world famous Spanish Riding School is based in Vienna and us well worth the guided tour. I've shelled out €16 and the tour lasts about an hour. You are not allowed pictures of the horses but everywhere else is fine. Our guides were both very good and spoke perfect English. There is of course a Gift Shop which I thought a bit over priced, €8:70 for a small information booklet, €12:50 for a mousemat I thought was a bit inflated. The tour was good, well...
