We landed in Tampa at 5:00pm local time on Wednesday, February 6th after a uneventful (thank goodness), flight through Minneapolis on Northwest Airlines. The weather was nice; in the high 70's with fairly high humidity. We picked up our Hyundai Santa Fe rental and headed north to Disneyworld. We arrived at 7:00pm to a very friendly staff and a nice room in the French Quarter at Port Orleans. We got to bed at midnight after a long day that began at 5:00am in Edmonton. We woke up at 7:00am and headed straight for the Magic Kingdom. After about 1/2 day, we went south to Disney's Hollywood Studios (formerly MGM studios. We all enjoyed the Tower of Terror, but we did not go on the Rockin Roller Coaster as they had already used up all of their fast pass tickets and by then, the line up was too long. We had dinner and then picked up some sunglasses and groceries for the next few days breakfast and lunch and then back to the hotel for a good rest in preparation for Friday at Animal Kingdom and Epcot Center.
