Hello everyone,

Sorry it's been such a long time in getting our act together and letting you all know where we are now living and what we're doing!

To cut a long story short, we didn't take to Vancouver as much as we'ed hoped to so we went on a little road trip to Whistler and loved the place, found a flat (very hard to do up here) and found jobs. We've been here nearly a month now and are settling in to normal life again of sleeping, working, eatting but with some beautiful scenery thrown in and of course the huge playground to come of Whistler Blackcomb.

I'm working for the Crystal Hotel as revenue co-ordinator, basically trying to price all the rooms so that we sell for the best rate while also filling up, (a little hard in the current low season of "fall") and also working on forecasting for the seasons ahead. (Hum not so much good news there either for the tourist buck!) But it's good fun and means I'm less than a 5 min walk from the main gondola come Nov 27th when the mountain opens.

Chris is working for an independant guy as a carpenter on custom homes - and oh my god are these houses huge and kitted out with enough toys to keep you happy for years!!! but he'll tell you all about his plans for boys toys no doubt when he speaks to you.

Other than that we are getting to know a few people up here, getting out walking and hiking while we can in the good weather and of course dodging bears! We've now both come face to face with a few and while they are beautiful you would still rather watch them from the safety of a window or vehicle in reality as they have mighty big claws!

Oh and don't forget that the door is always open to anyone fancying a holiday and we'd love to see you and we offer airport transfers and help with accom!!!!
