Hello All

Just a quick entry for Botswana - As I can't really remember all too much about it and am now in Namibia!! Botswana was baking hot..... the main highlight was a trip to a island in the Okavango Delta!! (don't think by saying island of white beaches and a bar) it took an hour to get to in a dug out canoe... in which I got sunburnt.. and it was scary as hippos and crocs lived in the water and we were literally an inch above water level!! Someones canoe sunk so the girl Sarah who I was in a canoe with had to get out and get into someone elses canoe so Cam (whos canoe had sunk) could get in mine..... other than that it was fairly relaxing and very surreal... the island had nothing on it and just a hole in the sand behind a tree for a toilet... we did a nature walk where we saw zero animals.. and when we got back found out elephants had been in our camp so we should have just stayed put! We were supposed to do another walk the following morning but me and my tent buddy sarah opted for an extra two hours of kip!!

Oh I also went on a plane rid over the Delta in a plane that had room for six which was awesome and our crazy pilot flew us really low ... until someone started to feel sick! rubbish!

Botswana all in all was a beautiful country and I enjoyed my time there.... Oh I have just been reminded we also did a Bushman Walk where we met some real Bushman who live off the land and where very little - How they lived was mental but very interesting..
