When we came back to Sydney from Cairns we only stayed overnight as the next morning we made our way to the Blue Mountains just 2 hours outside of Sydney. We chose to stay n Katoomba which seems to be where everything happens (?!). I actually liked Katoomba, it's a lovely village with a high street full of restaurants and above all great independent coffee shops where the food is good and the coffee is fantastic! When we got there, we went for a walk to see the Blue Mountains valley and walked around the forest for a bit. Only late in the afternoon we checked in our hostel room to find out that it hadn't been cleaned since 1986!! We quickly found another place that was way much better, cosy, welcoming.

The Next day after another walk to visit the unimpressive Katoomba Falls we left to go back to Sydney and finally settle in the same place for over a week! Yeah!
