After a long taxi ride which was one of the most uncomfortable rides in history we ended up getting a 2.5 hour ferry ride to Koh Samui.

We arrived about 1pm and headed for the hotel pool and sat there all afternoon drinking a few chang beers, We wanted to swim in the sea but the storms that they had had recently had ment the sea was a little dirty with planks of wood and plastic bags in there - it wasn't quite the paradise i had in mind!!

After a short nap we headed onto the main beach - Chaweng beach for some food and some more drinks (I seem to be constantly having a hangover at the moment) . I met up with Anna too which was cool as we had not met up since leaving Vietnam back in October.

We ended up having some cocktails and dancing the night away in a bar called Green Mango and i think there may be more incriminating photos of me on the dancefloor again. We then headed out for some muchies which in true brit style ended up being MacDonalds - we are so sophisticated!! I actually have eaten far too much western food over the last few days - i will be eating some rice and noodles tomorrow.

Unfortunately we are only here for one night before we head to Koh Tao tomorrow for a couple of days.
