We arrived in Rome this morning. We have done the coliseum, the Forum, and had authentic pizza. It's only 5:43 pm Next, dinner, and then... He won't say!!! Ciao for now ( my only Italian ) Our Next surprise was the Opera. I am no opera expert but this was a special performance that included pieces that most people are familiar with. I really enjoyed it!!

A quick trip to Sacre Coeur today. Our little learny for the day is that ther is a tram to the top!! Unfortunately we took the steps!!! Whew!!! Today, a little shopping and the Eiffel Tower. The tower takes a while even if you have reservations. Its massive!! Honestly the view is breath taking and the elevators are amazing. when you leave you're spent. To "reconstitutionalate" we went to a place in the Latin Quarter Called Masion Blanche ( New Orleans people) for dinner. Had a Kir (drink) to start..The mussels were great,also steak and potatos. Today we decided, schedule be dammed!! we just hung out. We had Pizza at this great place in the 15th. Also in the 15th, we had great pasteries while hanging out on a corner. ( I had the strawberry tart) Luxembourg Gardens was great for an afternoon break, afterward a dash over to the Latin Quarter for a sammie and a night river cruise. Yep it was good!!

We are back at the train station,St Pancras. ( apparently, not St Pancreas )We had a whirlwind day In London. Mastered ( to some extent) two subway systems. The tube and the metro.
