Have an incredible time! Feeling jealous pangs as I would truly love to be back in Africa with my family to see and experience the magic there. Travel safe and enjoy!

Dear Maz, Edwina, Maddalena, Arabella and Luca, thanks for the wonderful time we had with you in Zimbabwe, especially the chats about NZ, SA, overlanding, 4x4, photography etc, as well as all the kids keeping each other busy! After Zim we had a wonderful time in Botswana and have already planned next year's trip, when we will take our offroad caravan to Bots and Caprivi. Maz, I found that Front Runner makes the braai grid clipped over your truck's spare wheel and yesterday Tinneke and I set off to Safari Centre to buy one. She immediately recognised it as similar to your braai grid and even found a chair which, according to her, is similar to yours. Natural Instincts, I thinks the brand. Hope your jounrey ends well! Kind regarsd from Henk, Teresa and Tinneke

Hi all, your photos are amazing!
Well, we only have 3 more days before we break up for summer. The year has gone so fast! Very busy at school with end of year play 'Jane and the Giant Peach' , Sports Day ( fine weather for a change!) Academies Celebration and Leavers' Service. We will be sad to see the Year 6 children leave and others who are changing schools. Looking forward to seeing you all back at Pott in September. Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Hilary Blackwell And Class 2
Our topic this half term has been Similarities and Differences and we have read a super book called Africa is NOT a country. It has been fascinating to learn about the differences of culture, language, climate etc. We have enjoyed looking at your photographs of Namibia it really brings our topics to life. Enjoy!

Hello everybody we have loved reading your blog on South Africa. We have been learning about Nelson Mandela in IPC so your pictures and blog have been very interesting, particularly your account of Robben Island. We have also made a class pop art picture of Nelson Mandela. We have been discussing apartheid and how Mandela fought for black people to have a voice and vote. We have read a brilliant book by Beverley Naidoo called Journey to Jo'burg which follows the story of Tiro and Naledi. Read it you'll love it! We have also been using persuasive writing techniques! In our BIg Write we all wrote a biography of Nelson Mandela it's been great fun but you have experienced the real thing.
Thank you for sharing your experiences.
Best wishes All of class 2
