Wow what a day!!! Finally got some well needed sleep as well as Amy too! Started off at the Burj Al Arab which is a 7 * star hotel with a fine dinning buffet lunch OMG Amys dad as well as my own would have been in heaven!!! As we were the first to be seated we were able to see the food plated up so beautifully everything had it's place and so much of the food was very delicate in the way it was presented absolutely blew me away!!! Seeing all this great food makes you wanna be a restaurant chef again!!!! Anywhoo after lots of photos of the hotel and restaurant we headed off to the Atlantis resort on the palm as you can see in the uploaded pic... Well seeing it on tv and having them say it's huge well... Seeing it for real it's... BLOODY HUGE!!! I swear you could fly a plane through that gap lol after that we quickly found a taxi to get outta the 45•c heat we then headed off to the old souk...
All I can say is this was an experience we walked into a store with all types of herbs and spices the smell was unbelievably beautiful we had a man who showed us around his shop, I must say he was the most polite person I have ever met here in Dubai he explained how to make simple foods with the spices and herbs the Indian way lol in the end we ended up getting some vanilla beans for a killing would you believe me if I said I got about 10 vanilla beans for about $3 aus after that we went into a shop and got to try on the national dresses funny as!!! After that we realized we were running late to get back for the desert safari but we made it back intime and I won't go into detail too much about it but it was very scary on the way there we will explain when we get back lol very long story!!! But in the end a very good night... Flying out tomorrow at about 2pm Dubai time for London can't wait!!!
