Hello all!

Sorry about the delay in updates. Usual technical difficulties, extreme weather leading to lack of photos, etc.

Since last update been to Penang and Langkawi in Malaysia. Two very different islands; each boosting there own magical qualities.

Penang is a very busy city with lots of gorgeous beaches surrounding it. We stayed very close to a beach haven named Batu ferringhi which was grand and had lots of foodcourts too keep us suitably content. Penangs nucleus is called Georgetown and offers good nightlife and shopping. However, Tim managed to get very ill (we think maybe food poisoning) and so we spent all our time there stuck in a very dark room rehydrating and feeling sorry for ourselves.

Next stop Langwkawi. Langkawi is truely beautiful and we spent most of our time on some of the most picturesque beaches i've ever seen! Hard to hear i know, when its -3 degrees at home. Sore some fantastic waterfalls and canopies via a very tall cable car system also. Photos will be uploaded as soon as we can find a decent internet cafe.

Currenty in Thailand, in a place called Krabi for the weekend. Which is most unfortunate because there is a ban on alcohol all the time we're here due to governmenr elections. Bummer! Still, can't complain as the beach is fab and the water is crystal clear. Oh, and the food is too die for. Livin mostly on chicken, noodles, cashew nuts and banana smoothies. Promise to treat u to some of these delicacies when i get back Becky. With pic 'n' mix.

Booked our PADI Open Water Diving Course (check me out, Gary!)for over xmas in a island called Koh Toa (voted in the top 10 dive sites in the world!) which i'm completely amped about as always wanted to swim next to giant turtles. Off to Koh Samui tomorrow for more chillin so bye 4 now.

PS Big thank u to all my family who have been nursing my dear old Nan, Peggy, who recently fell ill of Pneumonia but is now out of hospital and on the mend. Love u all X

Oh and Becky try and ease up on the booze a little. I know it's xmas but i still worry about ur liver. I like that liver X
