vieng viang for what else but TUBING!!! oh my sooo much fun. A group of us meet at 11am got in tubes and started off down the river after just 2 mins we were pulled in to a bar. we stopped off at evey bar along the way they had swings and music in all. Six hours later and only about 1km from where we started it started to get dark and we were all pretty worse for wear. But tubing was the coolest thing by far being in the river surronded by mountains!

After spending two days on a boat with hard wooden seats we were pleased to arrive in loas. The boat journey ended up fun because we meet a nice group of people. Luang Prabang is the nicest town so far. Very french and pretty with lots of nice trips to do from there. After hours we went to the bowling alley as everthing else in loas closes at 11pm. we have been in northan thailand for a few days in pai and chang mai. visited temples and pai was a very hippy 70s place with loads nice bakerys. changmai was nice although we didnt end up trekking as we had to get over the border to loas which was a two day boat trip. In chang mai we caught up with some friends we meet up with along the way and went to the night bazaar which was nice.

our next stop 2 hours north of bangkok-kanchanburi-famous for the bridge over the river kwai and hell fire pass. We saw some really nice sights in the 3 days here firstly sai nok waterfalls then hellfire pass. Amazing to see the conditions people worked under during the war and over 100,000 people died whilst building this. We visited a cave and went on an old steam train to the bridge over the river kwai.
