hi again everyone! we have just returned from a 4day trip to the Amazon, which was utterly amazin! Hi all! As we type we are only hours back from the inca trail to Machu Picchu. totalling 42km it was anything but easy but hopefully as you can see from the the photos certainly worthwhile. the highest point was at 4200 metres. breathing was a problem though the locals had a little secret of coca leaves and chifta. a combinationation that makes you breath easier but also makes your mouth numb so conversation became decidedly more difficult as the hike got longer...
