I'm still in Goa, but in the south on the beautiful beach of Palolem. My boyfriend came a week ago and we took a cab to Palolem from Colva beach. There were local buses as well but we took the smoother alternative with a old charming taxi instead.
My boyfriends bag got held up at the airport because he didn't have an address in India. We have been waiting for his bag to arrive for a week and they finally brought it from the airport today. Now we'll book a bus to Hampi and go there tonight or tomorrow.
We've been chilling on the beach, eating good food and watching the sunset. We hired a scooter a couple of days and went exploring the nearby beaches and surroundings. Palolem is a beautiful beach, but it has become pretty touristy the last few years, but the beaches close by are almost deserted and you can avoid all the downs the tourism brings. We ate at a local restaurant for one fifth of the price you get in Palolem. Goan prices are still pretty cheap compared to Sweden, but compared to the rest of India it's ridiculously expensive.
We went to a Silent Noise party the other day. It's a party where everyone gets their own headphones and you can choose from three different channels with hippie trance, old school disco or mainstream house. It was pretty funny with people dancing to different music styles and when you took your headphones off it was all quiet and you could talk to each other without having to shout at the top of your lungs to be heard over the pumping music.
We have been thinking of going on a boat trip to see some dolphins, but this morning there was a dead dolphin that was washed up by the sea, so I'm not sure I feel like going on that trip anymore...
Sunny kisses from Goa! xxx

Deborah Harse Hi Kilroy, I love Palolem Beach and saw on your site that you do as well. I recently created this "day in the life" tribute and just thought I would share it with you. I am planning to go back this February! Goa Happy, a 4 minute music video just for fun. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8qw_o6MQl8 Thanks and be well, Deborah Harse
