Hi, today we hit the road and are officially on our way. We got the roof rack sorted this morning before we left and then we left Leimen in the pouring rain. It was raining pretty much until we crossed the border to France.
We stopped in a small village called Rang and had something to eat and now we are hoping to get to a nice camping were we can stay the night.

Later, we got lost going through Besoncon and went around town a couple of times. At last we managed to find the right way and kept on driving. It got dark at four or five o'clock so at this point it had been dark a few hours already so it felt like it was really late although it wasn't. Finally, after about a million roundabouts that made you pretty disorientated and dizzy we found the place where we wanted to stay for the night. It's some kind of bird park with a big free parking. It's dark now so I haven't seen any birds yet, but we'll see what it looks like tomorrow.
I'm a so tired after our 550 km drive today so I'll bet I sleep well the first night in the car. Goodnight!
