Apart from kids tooting horns at 1:00 it was a quiet night. It's a slow drive back through town and into Rapello to refuel, where we are served by a very cheerful pump attendant. Another sunny morning! From the site at Frejus it's only two miles to the autoroute. Traffic is light as we climb into the hills, getting a bit busier as we pass the town intersections; Cannes, Monaco, Menton. Haze prevents us seeing much out to sea but we get good views down to Menton. The first four toll stations come quickly and take small amounts with no tickets. We're up fairly early this morning, after two days stationary lots of things need putting away properly and it all takes time. As there is a tap on the pitch we plan to fill with water here then drop the waste at the point by the exit, but despite a box of adapters, this site has taps with parallel-world threads so it gets done by filling the jerry 5 or 6 times and pumping it in.
